III. IETF Document or Other Contribution to Which this IPR Disclosure Relates
draft-ietf-hokey-rfc5296bis ("EAP Extensions for the EAP Re-authentication Protocol (ERP)")Revisions: 06Sections: No idea sorry. There are patent numbers in the declaration for 5296 which I guess could help if you can bear to read 'em.
IV. Disclosure of Patent Information i.e., patents or patent applications required to be disclosed by Section 6 of RFC 8179
A. For granted patents or published pending patent applications, please provide the following information:
- Patent, Serial, Publication, Registration, or Application/File number(s)
See declaration for RFC 5296.
Notes: draft-ietf-hokey-rfc5296bis is, as the name suggests, an update to RFC 5296. There was an IPR declaration filed against RFC 5296 but so far there have been no IPR declarations for this draft. There doesn't seem to have been any radical change since then so one might conclude that whatever IPR applied to that might apply to this too. But who knows with IPR. (Not me anyway;-)
The folks who declared about 5296 were mailed, but have yet to respond as far as I know but I want to get the IETF last call started so this should do for that.
B. Does this disclosure relate to an unpublished pending patent application?:
- Has patent pending
