Abstract
This document discusses the use of the Internet Print Protocol [IPP] as a Facsimile Service on the Internet. A variety of goals and requirements are outlined to facilitate the use of IPP in compliance with the legal as well as general custom and practice surrounding General Switched Telephone Network Facsimile Services [FAX].
