Yaakov (J) Stein has BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in theoretical physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is presently CTO of RAD and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Tel Aviv University. He has authored 1 major textbook, co-authored 5 RFCs, edited 5 ITU-T Recommendations, co-invented 9 US patents, and authored numerous academic papers. He presently co-chairs the TICTOC working group. In 2014 he co-founded and now chairs "Neptune" - the Israel Consortium for Network Programming
