Donald E. Eastlake 3rd

Donald Eastlake is a Principal Engineer with Futurewei Technologies working on advanced network product standards and research. He previously worked for Cisco on the Cisco Network Registrar product, and before that with Motorola in their Broadband Network Research Laboratory. In the IETF, Donald is an author of 95 IETF RFCs. He currently Co-Chairs the IETF BABEL Working Group and Chaired or Co-Chaired six no longer active IETF Working Groups in the Internet, Routing, Security, and Applications Areas: the TRILL, PPPEXT, XMLDSIG, ECML, TRADE, and CALEXT Working Groups. He is a voting member of the 2019-2020 IETF Noncom and a member of the IETF Security and Internet Directorates and was the architect of DNS Security. In IEEE 802, he has been an 802.1 and an 802.11 voting member and was Chair of 802.11s and Chair and Editor for 802.11ak. In the BBF, he is Co-Editor of WT-457.
