Body
Further to our previous liaisons, we would like to inform you that the
Subscriber Layer 1 Service Attributes Technical Specification has been
published as MEF 63. All published MEF specifications are available at:
https://www.mef.net/resources/technical-specifications

MEF 63 defines the service attributes for a UNI-to-UNI Layer 1 service for the
following client protocols: Ethernet, Fibre Channel, SONET and SDH.

Work is also underway on a partner specification defining Operator Layer 1
Service Attributes, for both UNI-to-ENNI (access) and ENNIto- ENNI (transit)
Layer 1 services provided by one Operator to another or to a Service Provider.
A draft for review is planned for 2Q 2019 and we will provide it for comment
when available.

The forthcoming MEF meetings are:
January 28-31, 2019 - Hong Kong
April 29 - May 2, 2019 - Dubrovnik, Croatia
July 29 - August 1, 2019 - TBD
