PURPOSE: Response to your liaison dated 25th May 2012.

Subject: xDSL MIB.

Dear Christophe and Peter,

Thank you for your liaison and for providing us with TR-252i2, the xDSL
Protocol-Independent Management Model document.

The IETF ADSLMIB WG will begin work on development of this MIB based on the
management model outlined in BBF TR-252i2, as mentioned in our ADSL charter at
http://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/adslmib/charter/. The MIB will be built based on
RFC 5650.

The IETF ADSLMIB WG will keep the Broadband Forum O&NM WG informed of progress
during the development of the MIB. However, it's expected that the BBF members,
who are actively interested in the Vector of Profiles, will provide their
feedback in the IETF ADSLMIB WG.

Yours Sincerely,

Benoit Claise Menachem Dodge
