We would like to inform you that Recommendation ITU-T G.7044/Y.1347 (formerly G.hao) Hitless Adjustment of ODUflex(GFP) (HAO) was submitted to the approval process at the September 16 Interim SG15 meeting in Geneva. The document submitted for approval is attached. This Recommendation provides for the in-service change of the bandwidth of an ODUflex(GFP) in an Optical Transport Network without affecting the carried packet traffic. This may be of relevance to the OIF OTN over Packet Fabric Protocol project and OIF signalling work. Q14 is currently studying the impacts of G.7044 on signalling requirements in G.7713 as it relates to call and connection modification. Attach: TD462/PLEN, "Draft Recommendation ITU-T G.7044". |
