This is to advise the IETF that AT&T Corp. owns published applications for patents regarding the IETF Internet-Draft entitled "Media Resource Brokering” and having a ID file name of “draft-boulton-mediactrl-mrb-00”. The patent applications are U.S. 11/321760 and U.S. 11/321734, with foreign counterparts filed. To the extent that the technology discussed in this Internet Draft becomes an IETF Standard and to the extent claims which issue from these pending patent applications are required to implement the IETF Standard, AT&T agrees that it will, upon written request, offer non-exclusive licenses to implement the IETF Standard under such patent claims on a nondiscriminatory basis with fair and reasonable terms that may include royalties or fees. AT&T's willingness to grant such licenses is conditioned upon the prospective licensee granting a reciprocal license to AT&T under any patents that the prospective licensee may have to any technology required to implement that IETF Standard. |
