Voltage Security, Inc. ("Voltage") is the owner or controller of one or more patents or pending unpublished patent applications relating to the subject matter of identity-based encryption as described in one or more IETF specifications.

If technology in these specification is included in a specification adopted by the IETF and any claims of any Voltage patents are necessary for practicing the specification, any party will have the right to use any such patent claims under reasonable, non-discriminatory terms, with reciprocity, to implement and fully comply with the specification.

The reasonable non-discriminatory terms are:

If this specification is adopted, Voltage will not assert any patents owned or controlled by Voltage against any party for making, using, selling, importing or offering for sale a product that implements the specification, provided, however that Voltage retains the right to assert its patents (including the right to claim past royalties) against any party that asserts a patent it owns or controls (either directly or indirectly) against Voltage or any of Voltage's affiliates or successors in title; and Voltage retains the right to assert its patents against any product or portion thereof that is not necessary for compliance with the specification.

Royalty-bearing licenses will be available to anyone who prefers that option.

Note: The individual submitting this template represents and warrants that he or she is authorized by the Patent Holder to agree to the above-selected licensing declaration.
