Siemens has filed the patent application DE 10,2006,049,693.0.

If technology in the document, specified in section IV of this declaration, is
included in a standard adopted by IETF as a result of the NEMO Working Group and
if any patent claims of Siemens patents that belong to the same patent family as

party will have the right to use any such patent claims under reasonable,
non-discriminatory terms, with reciprocity, to implement and fully comply with
the standard.

The reasonable non-discriminatory terms are:

If this standard is adopted, Siemens will not assert any such patent claims
against any party for making, using, selling, importing or offering for sale a
product that implements the standard, provided, however that Siemens retains the
right to assert its patents (including the right to claim past royalties)
against any party that does not grant reciprocity to Siemens or any of Siemens'
affiliates or successors in title; and Siemens retains the right to assert its
patents against any product or portion thereof that is not necessary for
compliance with the standard.
