Network Working Group M. St. Johns, Ed. Request for Comments: 2670 @Home Network Category: Proposed Standard August 1999 Radio Frequency (RF) Interface Management Information Base for MCNS/DOCSIS compliant RF interfaces Status of this Memo This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements. Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and status of this protocol. Distribution of this memo is unlimited. Copyright Notice Copyright (C) The Internet Society (1999). All Rights Reserved. Abstract This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB) for use with network management protocols in the Internet community. In particular, it defines a basic set of managed objects for SNMP- based management of MCNS/DOCSIS compliant Radio Frequency (RF) interfaces. This memo specifies a MIB module in a manner that is compliant to the SNMP SMIv2 [5][6][7]. The set of objects are consistent with the SNMP framework and existing SNMP standards. This memo is a product of the IPCDN working group within the Internet Engineering Task Force. Comments are solicited and should be addressed to the working group's mailing list at ipcdn@terayon.com and/or the author.
