Minutes
------

[16:05] Introduction            [10min]

 * Alexander gives the note well
 * Ana is excused, Olivier is excused, Dominique 1/2 present
 * Not recording, introducing topics
 * Last meeting minutes approved
 * Reminder: no LPWAN meeting at IETF 109

[16:15] CoAP over SCHC          [15min]
  * 16 published, many changes
  https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-ietf-lpwan-coap-static-context-hc-16
  * 400 changes, mostly editorial, vocabulary * 1 DISCUSS with Benjamin Kaduk *
  major (see slides) architecture-related change, fig 1 and 2 in draft
      * compresson of CoAP and IPv6 with same rule set
      * vs. "end-to-end" application CoAP that splits in 2 rule sets with
      different end points
  * Length is now present in the rule
  * security section, not only LPWAN security
  * Pascal: do we need a new WGLC?
  * Eric: need to read the diff, but for the moment seems that it *could* be
  compatible with the last WGLC (e.g. no new IETF LC may be needed) * Pascal:
  will post to the list asking review of the diff before friday indicating that
  this is not a WGLC 2.

[16:30] SCHC over LoRaWAN       [15min]
   * 5 november on the IESG telechat
   * Dominique: One figure missing (error case with bitmap returned)
   * RFC Queue currently is 1 to 4 months

[16:45] Open Bar  / AOB     [ QS ]
   * Éric Vyncke received a req by Alex Davies (Research cie in UK) asking for
   LoRa Alliance how it could work better with IETF, what is the status, what
   can improve * Eric suggested to contact the group chairs, who expect emails
   * Alex: we'll guide Mr Davies through * Alex: interop test. Any action
   point? * A team from the WG and the ETSI need to be defined and specify the
   tests to be run * Juan Carlos: start brainstorming on the test plan. The
   idea would not to interop LoRaWAN and Sigfox, but to test the SCHC
   implementation - so connect the different technologies to the same SCHC GW *
   Pascal: do we want to have a radio layer ? Software, VM, and a tunnel... *
   Juan Carlos: bith radio and wire if possible * Need to see how ETSI reacts *
   Pascal: need to see if they still do this type of activity? * Laurent
   indicates that teh ETSI contact may be Ultan Mulligan
   <Ultan.Mulligan@etsi.org> * Pascal: For 6TiSCH, the contact who helped us
   was Miguel Angel Reina Ortega <MiguelAngel.ReinaOrtega@etsi.org>)
