Technical Summary

   PKCS #9 (RFC 2985) includes several useful definitions that are not yet
   reflected in the LDAP IANA registry. This document adds those
   definitions (attribute types; matching rules and syntaxes) to the IANA registry.

   As the elements and their semantics are defined in PKCS #9, this
   document needs to be read in conjunction with PKCS #9 to make use of
   the LDAP registrations provided herein.

Working Group Summary

   This is an individual submission.

   There was a proposal to form a new LDAP Working Group, but it never happened.
   So this Area Director decided to AD-sponsor this document.

Document Quality

   This document is adding missing IANA registrations. Registered attributes/syntaxes
   are already in use.

   Alexey Melnikov is the Responsible Area Director.
