Abstract
This document discusses how to use the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIP) protocol for distributed mobility management. Specifically, we describe the two schemes of distributed mobility management: Signal- driven PMIP (S-PMIP) and Signal-driven Distributed PMIP (SD-PMIP).
