Technical Summary

This document defines a mechanism for interested subscribers to receive asynchronous events corresponding to changes happening to a YANG datastore. A YANG data model for controlling the operation of such subscription is also defined. 


Working Group Summary

WG reached a consensus on the mechanisms specified in the document, without any major disagreements. 


Document Quality

There is at least some interest from vendor community for implementing the specified functionality. The document has been reviewed by several directorates in addition to usual last calls.

The Document Shepherd is Kent Watsen.  The responsible Area Director is Ignas Bagdonas. 


IANA Note

This document adds new entries to IETF XML and YANG Module Names registries.
