Technical Summary

   This document defines multicast VPN extensions and procedures that allow fast failover for upstream failures.

Working Group Summary

  There was no particular controversy on this draft but multiple enhancements have been added over time by various contributors.
  The document has been in the WG for a while and the initial authors/editors were not maintaining it anymore. Chairs had to appoint a new editor to close the work as the WG was interested to finish the work.

Document Quality

   There is at least one known implementation.
   The document has been reviewed by some key experts of the working group.

Personnel

   Stephane Litkowski is the document shepherd
   Martin Vigoureux is the responsible AD.
