Robert Wilton

Rob Wilton works for Cisco in the Mass-scale Infrastructure Group. Rob has over 20 years of experience working for Cisco in software development for the Service Provider platforms (IOS XR), particularly in Ethernet, 802.1Q VLANs, and layer 2 protocols. He has been regularly participating at IETF since 2015 in Network Management and YANG, most recently leading the design team on YANG versioning.
Rob holds a master's degree in Computation from the University of Oxford. In his spare time, Rob has a particular interest in functional reactive programming. He helps run a local code-club for primary school children and sings in a community choir.
