Henrik Levkowetz

Henrik Levkowetz is the Lead Software Developer at Elf Tools AB, and has been writing software for the IETF community since 2001, from initially 40% up to in recent years 100% of working hours spent on IETF-related software.

He is the sole creator and maintainer of https://tools.ietf.org/, the primary maintainer of the datatracker since 2007 (see https://datatracker.ietf.org/release/) and the xml2rfc tool suite, and also a number of other tools.

He started programming in 1968 at age 13, and has been happily at it since then. In between, he has acquired a Dipl.Ing in Physics, helped design ASICs and calibration algorithms for near-picosecond accuracy frequency counters, worked on the use of phase-array antennas for mobile telephony base stations, and co-chaired the MIP4 IETF working group from 2003 till 2011 (when it for all practical puposes concluded operations).
