Abstract:       This LS aims to inform IETF that ITU-T SG11 has consented one
draft Recommendation ITU-T Q.3405 (ex. Q.IPv6ProBB).

At the ITU-T SG11 plenary meeting in Geneva, the following one draft
Recommendation has been consented. -       ITU-T Q.3405 (ex. Q.IPv6ProBB): IPv6
protocol procedures for broadband services. It identifies the IPv6 protocol
procedures which support broadband services with IPv6 transition. The protocol
procedures are specified according to three basic IPv6 transition modes,
including dual stack, tunnelling and translation. The consented draft is
contained in SG11-TD626/GEN and its A.5 justification is contained in
SG11-TD627/GEN. ITU-T SG11 would like to invite IETF experts to review this
draft Recommendation and provide comments, if any. ITU-T SG11 looks forwards to
further cooperation with IETF on IPv6 aspect.
