Liaisons referred by this one LS on framework for creation, storage, distribution and enforcement of policies for network security
Body
The I2NSF working group would like to thank you for your liaison and for
drawing our attention to Recommendation X.1036

A number of our participants are currently reading the Recommendation to see
what useful material they can draw on to further our work, and your objective
of avoiding repetition of work effort is a common goal.

As we advance towards producing the documents listed in our charter we will
keep you informed of our progress. These documents are initially: - A framework
document, presenting an overview of the use of NSFs and
the purpose of the models developed by the working group
- Requirements for extensions (if any) to existing protocols used by the
   working group
- An examination of existing secure communication mechanisms to
identify the appropriate ones for carrying the controlling and monitoring
information between the NSFs and their management entities.
- Information models and YANG data models for the control and monitoring
   of NSFs.

In the meantime, you can view our work at datatracker.ietf.org/wg/i2nsf and
participate in the discussions on the I2NSF mailing list.

Best regards,
Linda Dunbar and Adrian Farrel
(I2NSF working group chairs)
