This is a response to Liaison Statement 1157. That statement can be
found here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/liaison/1157/.

Thank you for sending us the liaison statement about the NGN studies
and informing the IETF about the planned use of NSIS in an ITU-T
Recommendation.

The IETF appreciates any further information about future developments
with respect to the ITU-T use of NSIS.

Please note well that NSIS itself is not endorsed by IETF, but it has
been published as Experimental RFCs in all of its parts, including but
not limited to the QoS models.

With kind regards,

On behalf of the IESG,
   Russ Housley
   IETF Chair
