Licensing information, comments, notes, or URL for further information |
If the technology in this document is included, without material modification, in a standard adopted by IETF ("the Standard") and any claims of the Subject Patents are Necessary Patent Claims for practicing the Standard, any party will have the right to use any such patent claims (“Subject Claims”) under reasonable, non-discriminatory terms, with reciprocity, to implement and fully comply with the Standard. More particularly, Broadcom will not assert the Subject Claims against any party for making, using, selling, importing or offering for sale a product that implements and fully complies with the Standard, provided, however, that Broadcom retains the right to assert the Subject Claims (including the right to claim past royalties) against any party that asserts a patent it owns or controls (either directly or indirectly), where such patent relates to codec technology, against Broadcom or any of Broadcom's affiliates or successors in title, or against any products of Broadcom or products of any of Broadcom’s affiliates either alone or in combinlation with other products. Broadcom retains the right to assert the Subject Claims against any product or portion thereof that is not necessary for compliance with the Standard. |
Note: The individual submitting this template represents and warrants that he or she is authorized by the Patent Holder to agree to the above-selected licensing declaration.
