Subject: Results of IETF-conflict review for draft-irtf-nwcrg-network-coding-taxonomy-08

The IESG has completed a review of
draft-irtf-nwcrg-network-coding-taxonomy-08 consistent with RFC5742.

The IESG has no problem with the publication of 'Taxonomy of Coding
Techniques for Efficient Network Communications'
as an Informational RFC.

The IESG has concluded that this work is related to IETF work done in PAYLOAD
and TSVWG WG and past work in AVTCORE, MMUSIC and FECFRAME WGs, but this
relationship does not prevent publishing.

The IESG would also like the IRTF to review the comments in the datatracker
related to this document and determine whether or not they merit
incorporation into the document. Comments may exist in both the ballot and
the history log.

I'm a Yes on this conflict response, but I'm thinking the list of related IETF work is missing the former FECFRAME working group, and the current TSVWG working group that's extending the FECFRAME framework to include sliding window coding.

And I'm also glad that NWCRG done this work, but that's not one of the possible conflict review responses :-)
