The IESG has concluded that this work is related to IETF work done in CURDLE and LAMPS, but this relationship does not prevent publishing. This algorithm is an important input to IETF protocols. This reflects the intended relationship between CFRG and IETF WGs, in which the CFRG documents algorithms and the WGs embed them into protocols.
