This BOF will discuss the use of the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)
over Ethernet media. As a broadcast media, Ethernet presents many
challanges to the use of PPP. But PPP presents many compelling
advantages to access technologies that utilize bridged ethernet
topologies.
